Our NDT Inspection Services

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) - Advanced Volumetric Diagnostics

UT inspection is the cornerstone of volumetric analysis. We utilize also Phased Array (PAUT) digital systems for dynamic beam steering, ensuring precise mapping and excellent dimensional evaluation of internal flaws (cracks, inclusions) with sub-millimeter resolution.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) - Hyper-Sensitive Detection

The method uses induced magnetic fields and black or fluorescent magnetic particles. It makes visible magnetic flux leakages caused by surface or shallow subsurface discontinuities, which is essential for predictive maintenance and post-weld quality control.

Penetrant Testing (PT) - Surface Integrity Validation

The reference method for identifying surface-breaking discontinuities in non-porous materials. We use high-sensitivity fluorescent penetrants (Level 3/4) which, under UV-A light, ensure maximum visibility of even microscopic flaws critical for the aerospace industry.

Thickness Measurement - Advanced Corrosion Monitoring

A quantitative NDT technique using high-frequency transducers to measure residual thickness with exceptional precision. Vital for calculating corrosion/erosion rates in pipes and tanks and planning maintenance interventions focused on risk prevention.

Ferrite Content Analysis - Qualitative Microstructure Control

Crucial in stainless steel welds. We deploy calibrated digital ferritoscopes (according to ISO 8249) to provide a non-destructive measurement of Ferrite Number (FN). This ensures microstructural compliance to prevent premature failures in aggressive service environments.

Hardness Testing - Non-Destructive Mechanical Characterization

A direct indicator of mechanical properties and wear resistance. We provide portable non-destructive hardness testing (Leeb method) convertible to major scales. Essential for quality control on heat-treated components and the Heat-Affected Zone (HAZ) of welds.

Visual Testing (VT) - The First Certified Inspection

VT is the fundamental yet crucial method. Our certified inspectors use calibrated lighting and optical tools (borescopes, cameras) for meticulous analysis of surfaces, welds, and alignments, following UNI EN ISO and ASME standards for the initial integrity assessment.

Positive Material Identification (PMI) - Chemical Composition Guarantee

We use X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) or portable OES spectrometry for positive identification and verification of critical alloy composition. Essential for quality control to prevent the use of incorrect materials that could lead to catastrophic corrosion or structural failure.

Procedure Drafting - Complete Regulatory Compliance

Our team drafts specific NDT procedures (e.g., MP, LP, UT) compliant with ISO, ASME, and AWS standards. We also offer support for the qualification of procedures and operators, ensuring full traceability and inspection acceptability.
